Overview
This proposal seeks to secure funding from the SPACE ID DAO treasury for the SPACE ID Cosmic Council (contributor program) Rewards for the 4th quarter (October - December). This program will reward those contributing to SPACE ID, collectively known as the Cosmic Council, while introducing new KOL contributors who will act as SPACE ID ambassadors, posting about SPACE ID on social media platforms each month.
Purpose
The rewards program is essential in maintaining an active, motivated, and high-performing Cosmic Council. The program encourages continued contributions, community involvement, and attracts new talent, all of which are crucial for the growth and success of SPACE ID. By adding KOL contributors, we aim to extend SPACE ID’s reach, enhance brand visibility, and attract more users.
Scope
This funding proposal includes rewards for contributors at various levels, including Space Novas, Auroras, and the newly introduced KOL contributors. KOL contributors will act as ambassadors, promoting SPACE ID on social media channels such as Twitter, aiming to drive further visibility and engagement with SPACE ID’s initiatives.
Implementation
Rewards will be distributed through a points system, with evaluations conducted by the SPACE ID core team. Contributions will be assessed monthly based on individual performance, contribution type, and overall impact. Each month’s reward distribution will follow these guidelines:
- October: 100% of the monthly budget allocated to Astra, Nova and Aurora community contributors.
- November onward: 60% of the monthly budget allocated to KOL contributors for social media outreach and 40% to community contributors (Nova and Aurora levels)
Timeline
This proposal covers Cosmic Council rewards for the period ending December 2024. The rewards for qualified contributors will be distributed monthly, at the start of each month, for the previous month’s contributions.
Budget
The requested budget is $5,500 per month for Q4 of 2024, totaling $16,500 for the quarter. This budget reflects the adjusted distribution, with 100% allocated to community contributors in October and a 60/40 split between KOL and community contributors starting in November.
Total requested budget for this proposal is $16,500.
Expected Outcomes
- Expanded Social Media Presence: With KOL contributors promoting SPACE ID across social media, we anticipate a noticeable increase in brand mentions, discussions, and new user interest.
- Enhanced Contributor Incentives: By consistently evaluating and rewarding community contributors based on performance, we aim to sustain high engagement, motivation, and loyalty within the Cosmic Council.
- Broadened Ecosystem Partnerships: The visibility generated by KOL contributors and the continued efforts of the community contributors will help attract new integration and grant partners for SPACE ID.
