[Proposal] Chrome extension

Overview:
I propose the development of a Chrome extension that automates domain management and provides prompts for current campaigns.

Purpose:
The extension will notify users based on their preferences set in the settings. It will also send notifications for new events on Galxe or with other partners.

Scope:
The extension will utilize API data from the space.id website and partner websites to deliver relevant notifications to users. Users can customize notifications using filters within the extension. Additionally, users can set up notifications for all tasks that use credentials from Space ID, ensuring they don’t miss any tasks conducted by partners.

For example:

  • New domain for sale: .bnb 10k Club ABBA for 1 BNB
  • Domain expiration: 000.eth expires in 5 days
  • A new mission on Galxe is available {mission link}
  • New task on Galxe that contains a credential: SPACE ID Discord members who have the Explorers role {mission link}

Implementation:

Requirements and Feasibility Analysis: A detailed analysis will be conducted to understand the technical requirements and feasibility of implementing the features. This includes examining functional and non-functional requirements, as well as identifying potential constraints and risks.

Design: A technical specification will be developed to define the functionality and design of the extension, including the user interface and visual appearance.

Development: The extension will be programmed and implemented in accordance with the technical specification and design. It will interact with the Space ID website’s API and partner APIs.

Testing: Rigorous testing will ensure the functionality, reliability, and security of the extension. Various use-case scenarios will be tested to identify and resolve any errors or vulnerabilities.

Deployment: After successful testing, the extension will be launched in the Chrome Web Store for users to install and use.

Timeline:
The project development is expected to take three months, with the following timeline:

2 months for developing, testing, integrating APIs, and designing the user interface.
1 month for bug fixing, performance optimization, and submission to the Chrome Web Store.

Budget:
The estimated budget for the project is approximately $6,000, allocated as follows:

  • Research and design: $2,000
  • Development and integration: $3,000
  • Testing and documentation: $1,000

Expected Outcomes:
In conclusion, our proposed Chrome extension will provide convenient notifications about current promotions on partner websites. This will simplify users’ interactions with the SPACE ID platform, ensuring a more comfortable and user-friendly experience.

It’s a great idea, I’ve seen many times from users a request to add some kind of notification system (1, 2, 3, 4, etc) and what you described is just one of them.
